Pimont Alpine Chalet is located at the entrance of Val Nambrone, in the Adamello Brenta Nature Park, surrounded by a unique, natural habitat characterised by green field and meadows, crystal-clear alpine lakes and impressive waterfall, all encircled by the majestic Brenta Dolomites and the imposing Adamello Presanella range and its glaciers. An environment of outstanding natural value and of great biodiversity.
It is the ideal place to restore body and soul as well as an open air gym for outdoor sports.
During winter, the Skiarea Campiglio, the biggest in Trentino, with its 150 kms of pistes is a few minutes’ drive from the Chalet.
the hamlet
Pimont Alt is a historical and picturesque hamlet at an altitude of 1000 metres asl, near the entrance to Val Nambrone. Its location offers a timeless atmosphere: a corner of paradise which is worth discovering!
A unique and unspoilt hamlet, surrounded by fields and forests. It is made up of 8 main buildings located around a central square with an old washing trough. The buildings are decorated with religious frescos from the beginning of the 1900s. You can even find interesting street signs such as “piazza del parlamento” and “central parch”, which are a reminder of the humorous spirit which characterised the community that lived there till the 1950s.
Pimont offers direct contact with nature: it is an ideal starting point for walks and excursions, thanks to the paths and trails which start here. With a bit of luck, directly from your room, you may be able to see wild animals!
how to get there

FROM PINZOLO (3,5 KMS – 5 – minute – drive): take the SS239 north towards Madonna di Campiglio. Pass the village of Carisolo and after about a km you cross another bridge over the river Sarca. Carry on for about 300 m and take the second dirt road on the left near a religious roadside memorial. Follow the dirt road up a steep field for 500 m till you reach the hamlet of Pimont Alt.
FROM MADONNA DI CAMPIGLIO (8,5 KMS – 10 – minute – drive): take the SS239 south towards Pinzolo. Pass the village of S.Antonio di Mavignola, and after the restaurant “Speck Stube Alimonta”, on the second bend going down, take the first dirt road on the right near a religious roadside memorial. Follow the dirt road up a steep field for 500 m till you reach the hamlet of Pimont Alt.
